Girl's Lacrosse Officiating Certification

Please see the below formsfor Girl’s lacrosse officiating certification classes. This is the only one we are aware of in New Jersey.

Also, you should have received an email from Massive Playbook which we are a beta test site with US Lacrosse. We now have the ability to send out our own Chapter emails at our convenience. Please keep this in mind if you need to get information out to any Chapter member or constituent group. This is also a fundraising opportunity for us and the ads are sold by a professional organization in which we get a share of the revenue.

The organization is also based in Manasquan so, we help promote a NJ based company.

Additionally, we will plan on a Chapter meeting after the national convention. Hope to see you all in Baltimore.

Remember to register for the NJ Hall of Fame banquet through Peter Stanton. A fabulous class of inductees!

Regards and Happy New Years!

- John

US Lacrosse Website

Dear Valued Board Members and Chapter Presidents:

I have some encouraging news to report. We made it through the queue and Google has removed the "may be harmful to your computer" warning regarding US Lacrosse Web site (http://www.uslacrosse.org) from its search results. Although the USL site has been secure since we removed the external link over a week ago, it’s good to know that users of Google and the Mozilla browser (version 3.0) will no longer receive an outdated caution. On this same matter, Bing, Microsoft’s new search engine, has not yet removed the warning from their results page. To this regard, we have filed all the required and appropriate online forms with Bing and thus have every reason to believe that the issue will be resolved once we work our way through their queue.

Please know that US Lacrosse takes its visitors’ computer security very seriously. We have enhanced the site’s security and are working with industry experts and leading technologies to stay ahead of malware and closely monitor our online properties.

I will notify you all as soon as we have worked our way through the Microsoft Bing queue. Once again, please pass this update to those with whom you shared Friday’s email. Thank you for your patience.

Sincerely,

Bill Rubacky

New Jersey Lacrosse Hall of Fame

Please contact Peter Stanton [peterjlax@aol.com or (732) 371-1954] for nomination information and requirements.

Our Chapter promotes, supports and serves the lacrosse community in the following ways:

  • POSITIVE LACROSSE
  • NEW START PROGRAM FOR BEGINNING TEAMS
  • BOYS & GIRLS UNDER-13 AND UNDER-15 ALL STARS
  • NJ LACROSSE HALL OF FAME
  • NJ SOUTH LACROSSE WEBSITE

Membership is the lifeline to the success of the NJ South Chapter as we are directly funded by the very successful “Chapter Rebate Program”. The program is very simple and allows a certain portion of your membership dues to go directly back to our chapter. We have also relied upon the very generous gifts from corporate and individual sponsors.

The New Jersey South Lacrosse Foundation’s policy is determined by a board of directors which represent every aspect of the game, and by an Executive Committee which meets bi-monthly to monitor the progress of the Chapter. Youth and High School boys’ and girls’divisions under the board address the issues specific to the play of each version of the game; councils within and/or between each division represent each constituency of the game; and committees throughout the organization focus on specific areas of operation.

Our Chapter’s goal is to encourage membership, and to promote the highest level of sportsmanship and healthy competition. Safety and respect for every player, coach and referee is expected at all times, both on and off the field.
