Farewell but Not Goodbye
Dear NJ South Lacrosse Chapter Members,
I just wanted to thank you for your support of my tenure as president of New Jersey South Lacrosse Chapter for the past three years. As of today, October 1, 2010, Dale Oehler has assumed the role of president. I leave the Chapter in very capable hands and know that Dale will work closely with continuing to make the NJ South Lacrosse Chapter the "Best" Chapter in the country. In the four years since our initial formation, we've achieved many milestones and successes. We've doubled our membership, had eight new start programs, participated in national convention initiatives and PCA seminars, kept to our mission of education and expansion of lacrosse in Central and Southern New Jersey, and promoted the ideals of US Lacrosse mission to name a few of our endeavors of success. We are all very proud of what we've done in a few short years.
I also want to thank the NJ South Executive Board, Board of Directors and At-Large board for the generous time and support given to me and the Chapter. This has been a real team effort and will continue to be one under Dale's leadership.
Best regards and continued success!
John M. Kalinowski
President Emeritus

New Sponsor for PlaySportsTV
This web-based instructional series called Coaching Youth Lacrosse was developed and produced by PlaySportsTV (one of our sponsors and a New Jersey-based company) and features over 50 videos that help a parent or parent coach teach all aspects of the game of lacrosse to beginner and intermediate players.
The PlaySportsTV team has allowed me to use the Boys Lacrosse Training Plan as a fundraiser. Any sales that are generated as a result of following the link below will help bring in dollars for the Chapter!

New Jersey Lacrosse Hall of Fame
Please contact Peter Stanton peterjlax@aol.com or (732) 371-1954 for nomination information and requirements.
Our Chapter promotes, supports and serves the lacrosse community in the following ways:
- POSITIVE LACROSSE
- NEW START PROGRAM FOR BEGINNING TEAMS
- BOYS & GIRLS UNDER-13 AND UNDER-15 ALL STARS
- NJ LACROSSE HALL OF FAME
- NJ SOUTH LACROSSE WEBSITE
Membership is the lifeline to the success of the NJ South Chapter as we are directly funded by the very successful "Chapter Rebate Program". The program is very simple and allows a certain portion of your membership dues to go directly back to our chapter. We have also relied upon the very generous gifts from corporate and individual sponsors.
The New Jersey South Lacrosse Foundation's policy is determined by a board of directors which represent every aspect of the game, and by an Executive Committee which meets bi-monthly to monitor the progress of the Chapter. Youth and High School boys' and girls'divisions under the board address the issues specific to the play of each version of the game; councils within and/or between each division represent each constituency of the game; and committees throughout the organization focus on specific areas of operation.
Our Chapter's goal is to encourage membership, and to promote the highest level of sportsmanship and healthy competition. Safety and respect for every player, coach and referee is expected at all times, both on and off the field.
